1. Book Club [Blu-Ray] (2018)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Some films treat topics related to aging and sexuality well, but Book Club doesn’t become one of those films. Instead, it offers a superficial, caricature-packed piece of idiotic fluff that totally wastes the ample talent it boasts. Starring Diane Keaton, Jane Fonda. Paramount, $24.99, 8/28/2018.

3. Back to the Future Part III: 30th Anniversary Trilogy [Blu-Ray] (1990)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A warm and satisfying conclusion to the trilogy, Back to the Future Part II seems like a solid film. It falters at times, but it usually maintains a nice sense of heart and spirit, and it ends matters smoothly. Starring Michael J. Fox. Christopher Lloyd. Universal, $49.98, 10/20/15.

5. Time After Time [Blu-Ray] (1979)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: With its creative premise, Time After Time remains a cult favorite among movie fans. I think the film does more right than wrong, but it doesn’t totally wow me. Nonetheless, it provides a lively and clever experience that works for the most part. Starring Malcolm McDowell, Mary Steenburgen. Warner, $21.98, 11/15/2016.

6. Last Vegas [Blu-Ray] (2013)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As much fun as it can be to watch the film’s famous actors interact, Last Vegas lacks anything else to bring it to life. The performers keep us engaged for a while but they can’t redeem the banal nature of the project. The Blu-ray provides excellent visuals, decent audio and a good commentary. The movie’s legends make it occasionally interesting but they

7. Did You Hear About The Morgans? [Blu-Ray] (2009)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: If you’ve seen a couple of “fish out of water” tales, you’ll know what Did You Hear About the Morgans? has to offer. Despite the movie’s generic tendencies, it has just enough charm to make it reasonably enjoyable. The Blu-ray features excellent picture, acceptable audio, and a few reasonably enjoyable supplements. Morgans becomes a decent “date night”

8. Parenthood: Special Edition (1989)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Although it occasionally borders on the edge of soap opera, Parenthood usually stays on the right side of that line. It offers a likable, amusing tale of family life that works despite a few minor missteps ... Though the DVD doesn’t excel in any particular way, it offers a good enough release and movie to merit my recommendation. Starring Steve Martin, D

9. Step Brothers [Blu-Ray] (2008)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Maybe 2008’s funniest movie, Step Brothers really flies. Much of the credit comes from the chemistry between its two leads, but the silly premise, great supporting cast and general willingness to embrace its own absurdity also contribute to the flick’s success. The Blu-ray boasts solid picture quality, good audio, and we many fun supplements that include
